Food is excellent, MR 12 loving the Buttermilk Chicken burger. I had the smoked trout Tartine on toast. Very good tucker. Friendly staff. Great place.
This is a must visit when you come to Braidwood! The cafe is set in a heritage building on the Main Street in town that has been lovingly restored by the owners and there is plenty of space for groups as well as private areas (including booths!) if dining alone. Great food, great coffee and great ambience! Can recommend.

Not impressed. Coffee and snacks are really good but have tried breakfast, lunch and dinner a few times now and other than coffee will not try again. Service is atrocious, food expensive for below average quality You must need to be a VIP to receive what other reviews claim.
Hidden behind two other stores, Casanova's is in a delightfully renovated heritage award winning building. Service and food are excellent and well priced, with an enticing range of dishes. It has only been open for about a month, so things are still settling in, and as yet they are not open nights. They're closed Tues and Weds, but otherwise 8am to 4pm should see you with great coffee and tasty snacks, or full meals if the hunger is larger (seriously, I'm a traveller, not a paid reviewer). Out the back is a sunny area with tables and herb gardens, and the facility is one of few in Braidwood that is fully wheelchair accessible.
